Rules of the “Festival Miniature” competition 2025 edition

 

Preamble

 

These rules establish the conditions of participation in the “Festival Miniature” competition 2025 edition, organized to promote miniature art and the use of recycled materials. The purpose of these rules is to define the terms of participation, the rights and obligations of the organizer, participants, and partners.

 

ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION

 

The “Festival Miniature” competition invites participants to recreate a miniature scene in a suitcase, inspired by the annual theme and preferably using recycled materials.

For the 2025 edition, the theme is “Les Salles Obscures”, which highlights the participants' favorite films, series or animations.

 

ARTICLE 2 - CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

 

The competition is open to all, regardless of nationality. Minor participants may only participate through their parents or legal guardians, who become the official participants in the competition in their name and on their behalf. Only one participation per person is permitted.

 

ARTICLE 3 - ENTRIES

 

Entries are made via a form available on the competition website. The participant must provide a URL to the publication of their creation on Instagram and accept the conditions of use of their personal data and photos by checking the appropriate box. For more details on the collection and processing of data, participants are invited to consult the Personal Data Protection Policy.

 

ARTICLE 4 - CREATION AND SUBMISSION OF WORKS

 

The choice of the suitcase is free: it can be purchased or made by the participant himself. Participants must recreate a scene from their favorite film, series or cartoon in the suitcase, respecting as much as possible the principle of recycling for the materials used.

 

Throughout the creation process, participants are encouraged to share the making of on their social networks by tagging the Instagram account @festivalminiature.

 

The creation must then be shared on Instagram by tagging the Instagram account @festivalminiature, and the account must be public during the deliberations.

 

ARTICLE 5 - EVALUATION CRITERIA

 

The creations will be judged according to several criteria, including:

•          Creativity

•          Originality

•          Use of recycled materials.

 

ARTICLE 6 - JURY

 

The jury is composed of content creators on Instagram, artists and authors. For the 2025 edition, the members of the jury are: [To be completed].

 

ARTICLE 7 - AWARDS

 

Several prizes will be awarded, including:

•          Technical prize

•          Aesthetic prize

•          Poetic prize

•          Primary prize

•          Teen prize

 

Details on the prizes and their nature will be specified in an update of the rules or on the competition website.

 

ARTICLE 8 - ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS

 

Winners will be informed via their Instagram account. The results will also be published on the competition website and social networks.

 

ARTICLE 9 - PLATFORM LIABILITY CLAUSE

 

The “Festival Miniature” contest is organized independently and is in no way sponsored, managed or associated with Instagram. Instagram cannot be held responsible for any disputes related to the contest.

 

ARTICLE 10 - EXCLUSION OF PARTICIPANTS

 

Any attempt at cheating, fraud or failure to comply with the conditions of participation will result in the immediate exclusion of the participant. The organizer reserves the right to verify the regularity of registrations and submissions, and to exclude any participation that does not comply with these rules.

 

ARTICLE 11 - PARTICIPATION FEES

 

Participation in the contest is free. However, the creation of their entries and any costs related to materials are the sole responsibility of the participants.

 

ARTICLE 12 - DURATION OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

 

The data will therefore be stored for the duration of the competition and future editions and up to 18 months after the end of the competition to allow the management of complaints and legal obligations. After this period, your data will either be deleted or anonymized. Participants are informed of their rights of access, rectification and deletion of data and can exercise them by contacting festivalminiature@gmail.com.

 

ARTICLE 13 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

13-1. Authorization for reproduction and representation for all candidates, free of charge

 

By participating, each creator grants the organizer a non-exclusive, free and limited license to use the images of his/her creation for the purposes of promoting the competition and its future editions, including for activities related to the promotion of the competition.
